The upper section of Big Brumley Creek is on private property which is owned by a church group from Brumley Gap.  This section is a pay to fish section through the church.  The stream is a high gradient stream  that flows from Hidden Valley Lake.  The upper section is stock with Rainbows by the church and has a good population of wide fish below Hidden Valley Lake dam.
